What is an LCAD account?
Your LCAD account is the username and password you utilize for accessing all IT related systems on campus, i.e. Email, FTP, Self Service, Wifi. It’s important that you know and remember your LCAD account details, as IT resources will be unavailable to you if you do not know your login details.
What if I forget my username or password?
Forgetting your username or password isn’t ideal, but we’ve taken steps to make sure there are systems in place to handle such situations.
If you forget your student username: This is your first and last name together, so if your name was “Firstname Lastname”, your username would be: “firstnamelastname”.
If you forget your staff or faculty username: This is your first initial, and your last name – so if your name was “Firstname Lastname”, your username would be: “flastname”.
If you forget your student/staff/faculty password: Navigate to http://gmail.lcad.edu and click “Can’t access your account?”, then follow the on-screen instructions.
