Classroom AV
Speakers – The planning, acquisition, and installation of classroom speakers and audio equipment, as well as connecting school-owned equipment to the classroom audio solutions.
Projectors – The planning, acquisition, and installation of classroom projectors/displays as well as connecting school-owned equipment to the classroom video solutions.
User-owned equipment – We are able to provide limited support for connecting user-owned computers to classroom AV systems. At this time, we support HDMI video and analog 3.5mm audio. Cable kits are provided in every classroom for this purpose, AV trained personnel are able to provide limited basic support.
On-Campus Event AV
AV equipment setup and breakdown – Setup/deployment and breakdown/packaging of LCAD-owned AV equipment for LCAD on-campus events requiring audiovisual resources. This includes but is not limited to graduation, registration and job fairs.
Equipment transport – Transport of LCAD-owned AV equipment to locations at the Main and Big Bend campuses.
Off-Campus Event AV
AV equipment setup and breakdown – Setup/deployment and breakdown/packaging of LCAD-owned AV equipment for LCAD off-campus events requiring audiovisual resources for events like gallery shows. The IT department is not responsible for transporting AV equipment to off-campus events.
