Job Description

To assist the E-commerce team with various merchandising and web-based projects, including:
• Perform regular site audits of electriccalifornia.com to ensure there are no bugs, 404 errors, etc. and that all landing and collection pages are functioning and merchandised optimally
• Assist with merchandising products on the site (via Shopify) so they are correctly categorized and sorted properly, in order to be optimized to sell
• Assist in optimizing Product Detail pages –
o ensuring products are correctly grouped
o product images and swatches where necessary
o Update/Clean Up Product Descriptions copy
• Assist in batching product images and organizing product library
• Support new site-wide merchandising re-design, including revamping navigation, User
Experience and User Interfaces with the guideance of the Ecommerce Marketing Manager
• Help with product reviews via Yotpo and ExpertVoice
• Learn SEO-driven best practices and assist with SEO audit
• Assist with digital assets such as product images by perform basic functions in Photoshop
• Various digital marketing support including collecting and organizing User Generated Content, Social community management and more.

Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an Associates or Bachelor’s program working toward a degree in
Business Management, Marketing, Digital Studies or related studies
• A strong interest or experience in the digital landscape (whether websites, mobile, social, or ecommerce) is also preferred
• Willingness to be flexible and open to a variety of different projects across the digital
landscape, from merchandising to product support to marketing.
•Detail oriented, self-starter, strategic thinker with the ability to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, familiar with Adobe (Photoshop). Shopify experience a
plus.
• You have hands-on mentality, always ready to take on new challenge and finding new
solutions to problems

Part-Time – 10-15 hours per week, flexible schedule
