The Bruery is a boutique craft brewery located in Orange County, CA. The company goes to market under three brand names; The Bruery, Bruery Terreux, and Offshoot Beer Co, each offering a high quality, unique offering. The Bruery specializes in barrel aged and experimental ales, Bruery Terreux is focused on innovative wild and sour ales, and Offshoot Brewing Co. is the company’s newest brand that focuses on a rotational hop-forward offering.

About the Role

The primary focus of the Production Designer at The Bruery will be the implementation of branding elements across all forms of media.The primary responsibility for the Production Designer is to work with our marketing team and Senior Designer, to implement brand elements into packaging, trade show/event materials, retail, society, distribution marketing materials and digital assets that are on-brand and of the highest quality.

How you will contribute to the The Bruery

Develop outstanding and consistent visual concepts and designs that help our brands stand out as special occasion beers from an industry leader.
Assist design and packaging teams to ensure labels are delivered on time and error-free.
Adhere to creative direction as provided by management and share feedback and input to enhance each project.
Stay current on new design trends, tools, processes.
Develop a deep understanding of our Brand’s look, feel and story.
Maintain and organize project libraries, shared digital assets, and archived projects.
Provide direction and feedback to vendors to ensure final deliverables are accurate and of highest quality.
Assist with photo shoots, photo manipulation, and product mock-ups
Assist in design of brochures, table tents, packaging, display signage, sell-sheets and other initiatives involving visually appealing assets.
Assist with social media, email and other digital marketing graphics.
Working with appropriate departments to ensure proofs for printed and final designs are accurate, error-free, and of highest quality.
Essential Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, or related studies
1-2 years experience in graphic design
Strong working knowledge in composition, color theory, typography, branding
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
Willingness to learn and ability to implement constructive feedback
Strong collaboration and communication skills with fellow employees and vendors alike
Experience with formatting and compressing work for a wide variety of outputs, including digital, print, packaged, merchandise, screen print, etc.
Understanding of printing process
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task and prioritize according to a shifting schedule
Motivated problem-solver and self-starter that is willing to take ownership of a wide variety of projects in a collaborative environment
A very keen eye for detail and proofing

Preferred Requirements:
Experienced in video editing software Adobe Premier, and After Effects
Experienced in product photography, 3D rendering, photo editing
