Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival
REMOTE
The Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival is seeking a driven Social Media Intern. The position will be entirely remote.
Applicants must have a solid understanding of social media platforms knowledge of how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. The intern will be responsible for creating weekly calendars alternating social media platforms that include Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
Generate, edit, publish and share weekly content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community engagement
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social media content
Measure social media engagement
Collaborate with the Executive Director and Office Staff to coordinate actions
Requirements
2+ years work experience in social media marketing, including on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Knowledge of online marketing and demonstrated understanding of major marketing channels
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
Team player who is detail-oriented, responsible and able to multitask
Fluency in English
Compensation negotiable. Start date will be in January 2021.
