HalloweenEveryNight.com is an award-winning news entertainment website focused on the Halloween and horror community. Founded in 2014, the news website is run by professional journalists and it has won 45 OC Press Club Awards — many in the arts category. Graphics and illustrations interns work under the mentorship of our managing editor, a former OC Register journalist. Interns create art for specific articles — everything from horror-themed anniversaries to celebrity imagery — as well as work on our monthly illustrations calendar of Halloween and horror dates to know. Interns receive regular feedback and mentorship. Many of our previous interns have won OC Press Club Awards for their work for us. We submit on their behalf. The internship is fully remote and unpaid (for academic credit). Interns communicate with their mentor regularly via phone, email, text, etc.
