Job Description

(OCCTAC) Orange County Children's Therapeutic Arts Center is a Non-Profit, community service agency in Santa Ana, CA for the past 23 years. We are innovative, social, inclusive and our goal is to Serve and empower the youth of our community!.

Responsibilities:
- Teach art classes to students, focusing on various mediums including digital art, illustration, painting, Digital Animation and ProCreate.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the needs of students at different skill levels.
- Provide guidance and feedback to students to help them improve their artistic techniques and develop their creativity.
- Demonstrate and teach students about the principles of design, color theory, composition, and other fundamental concepts in art.
- Introduce students to different art styles and artists, fostering an appreciation for art history and cultural diversity.
- Incorporate technology into art lessons, including graphic design software, Adobe Products, ProCreate, and Animation Software

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as an art teacher or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in digital art software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity in students.
