Triggerfish is Africa's leading animation company, with multiple awards, new shows just released on both Netflix and Disney+, and an Academy arm.

We are currently looking for a hands-on marketing coordinator to support the Triggerfish brand through a mix of marketing, content, and product campaigns.

You will be required to build the social media presence of the company and its IP and analyse results for efficient returns on investment. You will assist in strategising marketing campaigns based around the company’s projects such as releases of new content and training material, and help with developing audience engagement with the Triggerfish brand.

You would be responsible for:
Managing Triggerfish’s brand and its marketing channels, including social media.
Aligning studio communication messaging to the business objectives.
Help to guide the internal culture of the business with curated messaging.

Duties:
The successful candidate will help develop the Triggerfish brand by:
Planning, organising, and executing marketing campaigns throughout the year, based on goals set by the executive team.
Advising the executive team on the overall brand strategy and devising marketing campaigns
Posting regularly on social
Compiling and editing a regular newsletter
Liaising with international studios on marketing deliverables for the different films and series
Liaising with key animation industry events and partners to maximise Triggerfish's presence
Overseeing the Triggerfish website, working with a specialist website designer as needed
Responding to external queries about Triggerfish and the animation industry at large
Providing quality assurance for all marketing materials and content
Cultivating a brand ‘voice’ through marketing beats and content releases across all of Triggerfish’s marketing channels
Analysing campaign results with an analytical mindset, and translating that into actionable points for the next campaign
Creating marketing materials and promotional content that aligns with the Triggerfish brand, drawing on the studio's creative resources but being as hands-on as possible
Overseeing internal communications by providing brand templates, general brand consistency reviews and creating newsletters

Skills Required:
MUST have strong understanding of internet
Should have a passion for connecting with animation audiences, especially in Africa
Strong written and visual communication skills. Video editing, gif creation, and website management experience would be helpful
Have a creative/imaginative mind
Experience in ideating, strategising and executing a creative campaign for a product or service.
Be extremely organised and have a strong work ethic
Experience with cultivating and developing a distinct brand identity in a digital space
Strong analytical skills
Consistently strong problem-solving skills, as well as the capability to work in a disciplined manner and to make timely, well-thought-out decisions
Strong interpersonal, social, and communication skills, with a desire to work closely with other professionals in a team setting
