JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Remote

RATE: $30.00/hour

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
o Maintain and update the LBUMC website, www.lbumc.org.
o Collaborate with Lead Pastor to execute social media strategies and campaigns that align with church objectives. Reach the target audience and
increase engagement and growth.
o Work with Lead Pastor and church staff to design, curate, and manage engaging content (copy, captions, images, videos, flyers, infographics) for
digital platforms, including the website and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) while adhering to our brand standards.
o Monitor and analyze social media performance to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement. Report findings to Lead Pastor and
Leadership Board to ensure social media is achieving its goals.
o Provide assistance or advice to church administrative staff for communication and technology needs.
o Ensure LBUMC social media presence reflects church values.
o Other appropriate duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
o Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok.
o Proven work experience in social media marketing as a digital media specialist or similar role
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with the target audience.
o Knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices. Familiarity with content marketing strategies to optimize social media content.
o Proficient in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools. Must have experience with web management tools and
resources and utilization of Adobe Design products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.). Video editing software and programs are not required but a
plus.
o Experience using Google suite tools and Microsoft products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
o Prior social media marketing experience preferred.
o Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team.

MISCELLANEOUS:
o There may be an occasional increase in weekly hours during peak periods (Easter, Christmas, etc.).
