Job Description

New Port Theater, a luxury movie theater and event venue in Corona Del Mar, is looking for talented service personnel to join our team for day-to-day activities and events. The ideal candidate has exceptional people skills, the ability to multitask, social media skills, is available to work weekends/evenings, and has previous experience as a bartender, server, host or another customer service-related position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver exceptional and friendly customer service.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond quickly to requests from guests, supervisor and management.
• Active social media and digital marketing participation, including creating videos, reels, posts that are relevant to movie industry and Port theater operations.
• Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about food and beverage operations
• Prepare and serve beverages consistently by adhering to all recipe standards.
• Complete day-to-day operational and customer service tasks such as set up, cleanup, stocking and replenishing items, and handling of other food items.
• Responsible for event setup, service, and teardown after events conclude. (set-up of tables, linens, chairs, food, utensils, etc, for full service of events)
• Friendly, professional, can-do attitude; professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Requirements:
• At least 1 years' experience working as an event staff, catering staffing, server, barista, bartender, restaurant server or other customer service job.
• Food Handler Certificate (will need to get within 30 days if do not yet have it)
• E-Tips Certificate / RBS Certification for bartending (will need to get within 30 days if do not yet have it)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs including weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and professionally communicate with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Shows strong attention to detail and can multitask.
• Ability to take direction well, willingness to learn, and complete assigned tasks.
• Self-starter, hard worker, dependable, and a team player.
• Social media and digital marketing experience a plus.
• College degree or in the process preferred.

Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
