Job Description

Your Role:

The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of many different facets of Graphic Design. This includes executing against set direction from the Art and Creative Director for the design and production of multiple brand marketing initiatives. This position requires a strong collaborative and explorative designer, with a hands-on approach to support multiple creative projects. 

The Junior Graphic Designer should have a great understanding of brand identity, publication  and print design, packaging, web, and digital content creation, & layout. They should also have excellent production techniques, including file preparation.

This position is an in-office role that does not offer remote work at this time.

Responsibilities:
- Creative innovation and execution of printed and digital materials. 
- Strong focus on file preparation, mock-ups, preparing presentations, etc.
- Research and gather inspiration, with clear communication of intention, offering several solutions. 
- Participate in the creative process by being knowledgable of design trends and concepts,  and collaboratively communicating new perspectives. 
- Help maintain and build brand standards, organization, and cohesion for multiple clients. 
- Communicate project status and maintain priorities. 
- Preflight, collect, upload and download projects, as well as organize files following studio processes and guidelines. 
- Job responsibilities may include other duties as this is not an extensive list of all job expectations.

Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
​​This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 to 2 years of experience or graduating Graphic Design Program.
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized. 
- Ability to problem-solve and follow art direction with quick, creative, and adaptive thinking.  
- Excellent communication skills, collaborative, and strong verbal etiquette. 
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Apple. After Effects is a plus but not required. 
- Working knowledge and understanding of print and prepress production.
