The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) seeks friendly and team-oriented Engagement Guides to create outstanding visitor experiences at the Orange County Museum of Art. This is an exciting point in the museum’s evolution, as OCMA has recently moved into its 53,000 square foot home at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts.
Engagement Guides are part of the Learning and Engagement Department and foster a welcoming, inclusive, and comfortable environment for all visitors. This position is the first point of contact for visitors and provides information about the museum and exhibitions. The position contributes to the successful daily operations of the visitor experience team.
Guides also work closely with the security team in protecting the museum, staff, and visitors against fire, theft, and accidents. This is an hourly position requiring availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
